Alex Stuckey is a NASA, science and environment reporter for the Chronicle. Prior to arriving at the Chronicle in September 2017, she worked at the Salt Lake Tribune where she was part of the team of five that won the Pulitzer Prize for Local Reporting for coverage on sexual assaults at Utah colleges. She also previously covered the Missouri Legislature for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and Idaho National Laboratory for the Idaho Falls Post Register. An Ohio native, Stuckey has lived in five states since graduating from Ohio University’s E.W. Scripps School of Journalism in 2012. Stuckey is an avid runner, bookworm and lover of elephants. She likes puppies more than people.
