The Darien Chamber Going for Green campaign was a great success.
The Chamber is excited about the enthusiasm from businesses, the 20 Darien High School graphic arts students who submitted posters, the art teacher, the Darien Environmental Group, Beautification Commission, Green Drinks of Darien/New Canaan and the ChooseToReuse group.
The Chamber also would like to thank the 250 volunteers that helped with the Townwide Beautification and Clean Up and Stop & Shop for donating a reusable bag filled with a water bottle, breakfast bar, fruit and trash bag for each clean up volunteer.
