THOMASTON — Landmark Community Theatre’s performances of “It’s a Wonderful Life” at the Thomaston Opera House, the heartwarming stage adaptation based upon Frank Capra’s beloved film starring Jimmy Stewart, Lionel Barrymore and Donna Reed, concludes this weekend with shows on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The story revolves around Bedford Falls’ ‘everyman,’ George Bailey, who is plagued by despair, when his guardian angel, Clarence, arrives to remind him that “No man is a failure who has friends.” The show celebrates the season and the American philosophy of life; that hard work and kindness will always be rewarded.

Under the direction of LCT Executive Director, Jeffrey Dunn, it stars Rob Girardin as “George Bailey,” James Wood as his guardian angel, “Clarence,” and Jim Lones as the despicable “Mr. Potter.” Don’t miss what is sure to be the highlight of the holiday season. It is suitable for all ages.

The final performances are Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. For more information on tickets and group sales, call 860-283-6250 or stop by the box office at 158 Main Street Thomaston, or go to www.landmarkcommuntytheatre.org.
