“Runaround Sue” is still on the go. The Corvettes roll into Connecticut on Saturday, Oct. 14, bringing a celebration of doo-wop and the music of the 1950s to the Danbury Palace.

The concert will feature such hits as “In the Still of the Night,” “Rock Around The Clock,” “At the Hop” and more. This band includes musicians who have toured with legendary groups from The Drifters and The Platters to The Shirelles and The Belmonts, among many others.

Performing all over the country, The Corvettes bring fresh new energy to such tunes as “Splish Splash” and “Shake Rattle & Roll.” The group is dedicated to preserving what some consider to be the greatest music ever made, and its members are also known for their comical stage antics.

Free parking is available for theater patrons in the parking lot behind the building. Tickets may be purchased in advance or at the box office starting one hour before show time.

The Danbury Palace, 165 Main St. Saturday, Oct. 14, 8 p.m. $40. 203-794-9944.
