After snow: Trains running, schools back in session
Updated 8:00 am, Thursday, March 16, 2017
Trains are running, highways are clear and schools will be back in session Thursday.
It will be a normal day after a Tuesday nor’easter brought most of the state to a standstill.
Metro-North has regular service on Thursday, but riders should expect up to 15-minute residual weather-related delays.
Just a couple of delays in southwest Connecticut: Regional 14 (Bethlehem, Woodbury) and Region 15 (Middlebury, Southbury) have a two-hour delays. For updates on delays: http://www.ctweather.com/ian-school-cancellations
On the roads, major highways are clear, but local roads may be slippery.
