The annual Holiday Luncheon and Boutique at the Country Club of Darien on Wednesday, Dec. 5, raised more than $12,000 to benefit the Stamford Advocate's The Giving Fund.

As in the past, Person-to-Person was also a benefactor with food and toiletries collected and delivered to P2P's food pantry.

This 12-year tradition was started in the wake of 9/11 as an opportunity to support a local charity that mainly benefits women and children.

This year's event was an early sellout with 340 women and 19 vendors. A highlight of the sale is the members' table, offering handmade items, baked goods, and original crafts and art produced and donated by members and employees.

Members of this year's committee included Chairman Kathy Lavery, Janis Atha, Carol Crikelair, Chris Falco, Gail Jones, Barbara Kelly, Diane Musicaro, Laurie McGrath, Jill Pankosky and Nancy Powell.
