Byrne's photography on display at SBD Kitchens in Darien

An exhibit of Lynne Byrne's photography is on display now through April 10 at SBD Kitchens, LLC/Sarah A. Blank Designs, 1472 Post Road, Darien.

Byrne's photographic imagery celebrates the details in nature that often go unnoticed -- intricate textures, surfaces, reflections and variations in color. The photographer uses natural light and close-ups to share a glimpse of the everyday miracles seen in the natural environment.

The display may be viewed from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

SBD Kitchens, established in 1999, serving clients in Fairfield and Westchester counties, New York City, and The Hamptons, creates residential interiors that respect the theories of classical proportion and order while reflecting the requirements of 21st-century living.

During the opening on Thursday, March 7, from 6 to 9 p.m., Byrne will donate 15 percent of sales of her work to the Darien Arts Center to honor its work in fostering a greater appreciation of and participation in the visual and performing arts. SBD Kitchens, LLC is also a sponsor of the Darien Arts Center.
