College Notes: Kim Segalas, Stebbins lead Skidmore lacrosse

Kimberly Segalas (King) had seven goals and an assist as the Skidmore women's lacrosse team (6-6) rolled to a win over Rochester. Segalas has 32 goals and eight assists this season and 109 goals over three years. Defender Leslie Stebbins (Wilton) has five goals in 12 games.

Kate Fowler (Wilton) is 13-0 in goal, allowing 7.33 goals per game with the Hamilton women's lacrosse team ranked No. 1 in the Coaches Association Division III poll. Rachel Friedman (Fairfield Warde) has 21 goals and four assists for Hamilton while Hillary Saverin (New Canaan/Taft) has 12 goals and two assists, Caroline Morgan (Greenwich) has four goals and three assists and Meg Pengue (Fairfield Warde) has 30 ground balls.

Lexi Hearn (Greenwich) had the game-winning goal and also contributed two assists as the 6th-ranked Gettysburg women's lacrosse team (14-2) edged 4th-ranked Franklin & Marshall, 8-7. She has 26 goals and eight assists this season.

Nikki Hay (Norwalk) of the host team won the long jump (5.5m), the triple jump (11.30m) and the 100 (12.48) and also ran with the winning 4x100 relay (49.42) at the Springfield Invitational.

Amanda Quinones (Trumbull) of Eastern Connecticut was third in the 3000 steeplechase at the meet.

Bertony Jean-Louis (Brien McMahon) set a Sacred Heart record with a time of 14.40 in the 110 hurdles during the Collegian Track Conference championships.

Max Orenstein (Trumbull) of the Ithaca men's track team had ECAC qualifying times in winning the 100 (10.85) and 200 (21.78) and also running with the winning 400 meter relay (42.25).

Mike Sciarretta (Stamford) has a 4-4 record with a 3.76 ERA with the Pace baseball team (12-23) while Rich Sullivan (Norwalk) is 0-1 with a 2.08 ERA. Freshman shortstop Bobby Horn (Westhill) is second in assists with 56.

Peter Kreiger (New Canaan) is hitting .267 with 24 hits, including four home runs, with the Denison baseball team (22-16).

Ryan Conlon (St. Luke's) is hitting .321 with 25 hits and 21 RBI with the Colby baseball team (11-10). He has also made only three errors in 164 defensive chances.

John Miscioscia (Wilton) has a 2-0 record with a 3.98 ERA in seven games (five starts) with the Mary Washington baseball team (23-10).

John Oppenheimer (Staples) is hitting .282 with the Roger Williams baseball team (9-21).

Byron Reding (Darien) has a .313 average with the Salve Regina baseball team (19-15).

Priscilla Alicea (Trumbull) is hitting .389 with a team-high 28 hits while Ashley Sullivan (Trumbull) has a .358 average with 24 hits including five doubles and five triples with the Eastern Connecticut softball team (19-3-1).

Merrilee Weston (Trinity Catholic) had two hits and drove in three runs, including the game-winner in the 10th inning, as the Williams softball team downed Middlebury. She also had a pair of hits against RPI.

Elana Stein (Norwalk/Taft) is hitting .333 in 13 games (two starts) with the Franklin & Marshall (9-17) softball team.

Freshman Will Delano (St. Luke's) shot 163 as the Colgate men's golf team participated in the Navy Spring Invitational.

Greg Shuman (New Canaan/Choate Rosemary Hall) shot 156 as Harvard tied for third place in the Caves Valley Spring Invitational.

Devon O'Rourke (New Canaan) finished with 232 as Fordham took fourth place in the Mount Saint Mary Spring Invitational.

Megan Corbett (Danbury) of the host team came in with a 171 at the Mount Saint Mary Invitational.

Whit McCarthy (Darien) has 21 goals and eight assists with the Colby men's lacrosse team.

Christian Oberbeck (Brunswick) has a pair of goals and is 26-44 in face-offs with the Harvard men's lacrosse team (5-5).

Michael Juterbock (Darien) has 1 goals and 26 ground balls with the Colby men's lacrosse team (8-6).

Rob Dickinson (Brunswick) was named Liberty League co-Defensive Player of the Week after his performance for the Hamilton men's lacrosse team in a win against Clarkson.

Pete Smith (Wilton) had three goals and four assists as the Middlebury men's lacrosse team (8-3) won a pair of games. He has 12 goals, 17 assists and 40 ground balls this season.

Freshman Chris Martin (Darien) of Stonehill was named Northeast-10 co-Freshman of the Week in men's tennis after posting wins in singles and doubles competition
