Darien forecast: A clear & cold holiday

This will be a cold and blustery President's Day holiday in southwestern Connecticut, according to the National Weather Service.
Even though skies will be sunny, the daytime high temperature will reach only about 30 degrees and it could feel as cold as minus-2 degrees, with wind-chill factors driven down by a west wind 15 to 18 mph, and gusts as high as 30 mph.
Tonight will be partly cloudy, with a low temperature about 24 degrees and a southwest wind 5 to 9 mph.
Showers are expected tomorrow, mainly after noon, as the temperature rises to the mid-40s. There will be a south wind 6 to 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90 percent, according to the NWS.
Rain is also likely tomorrow night, with low temperatures registering in the mid-20s. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent.
Wednesday is expected to be mostly sunny, with a high near temperature in the mid-30s. Clouds move in at night, with temperatures about 20 degrees.
Thursday also should be mostly sunny, with a high temperature in the mid-30s. Nighttime should be clear, with a low temperature about 20 degrees.
The outlook for Friday, according to the weather service, is partly sunny with temperatures in the 30s.
