Fog settled across sections of southwestern Connecticut early this morning should clear out by later morning, leading to a mostly sunny day with temperatures cresting to a balmy high mark in the low-70s.
The National Weather Service also predicts there will be a southwest wind 6 to 11 mph.
Tonight will be mostly clear, with the temperature dipping to a low in the upper-40s. There will be a west wind 7 to 10 mph.
Tomorrow should be sunny, with a high temperature in the upper-60s, the NWS says. Nighttime will be mostly clear, with a low temperature in the mid-60s.
Monday also will be sunny, as the temperature rises to a high in the mid-60s. Skies remain mostly clear Monday night as the temperature dips to a low of about 50 degrees.
Tuesday is expected to be sunny again, with a high temperature in the upper-60s. Tuesday night, however, turns mostly cloudy, with a low temperature in the low-50s.
The outlook for Wednesday, according to the weather service, is partly sunny and temperatures in the mid-60s.
