Darien forecast: More rain, storms on the way

Today promises to be another gray -- and stormy -- day in southwestern Connecticut, according to the National Weather Service.
Skies will be mostly cloudy with the likelihood of showers -- and possible thunderstorms -- growing this afternoon and evening. The daytime high temperature will rise to the low-60s, with a southeast wind between 6 and 8 mph.
Tonight, the with continuing potential for showers and thunderstorms, the temperature will dip to a low in the mid-50s.
Tomorrow, showers and thunderstorms are possible, mainly after 1 p.m. The high temperature is expected to register in the mid-60s, with a south wind between 6 and 10 mph. More unsettled weather is possible tomorrow night, with a low temperature in the upper-50s, the NWS says.
On Saturday there remains a chance of rain, along with patchy fog, before 8 a.m. Skies will be cloudy most of the day with a high temperature in the low-60s. Nighttime will be mostly cloudy, with a low temperature in the upper-40s.
The outlook for Sunday, the weather service says, is mostly sunny skies as the temperature rises to the mid-60s.
