Darien forecast: Nice today, 'mixed' outlook later

The National Weather Service says skies across southwestern Connecticut today will be clear -- the forecast for tomorrow, however, could be far different.
Under sunny skies, the daytime high temperature today is expected to rise to about 50 degrees. There will be a light west wind increasing to 5 to 10 mph.
Tonight should be mostly clear, with a low temperature about 30 degrees and a northwest wind 5 to 7 mph.
Tomorrow will start on a bright note, with mostly sunny skies and a high temperature in the low-40s.
By afternoon, however, the NWS says there is a chance of mixed wintry precipitation of rain and snow. That precipitation may continue overnight as the temperature drops to about 30 degrees. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.
On Sunday, rain is likely as the temperature rises to a high in the upper-40s. Odds of precipitation are 80 percent. Nighttime bring an 80 percent chance of more precipitation as the temperature registers a low in the upper-30s.
More rain is likely on Monday, mainly before noon. Skies are expected to be cloudy most of the day, with a high temperature in upper-40s. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. There remains a slight chance of rain Monday night, as the temperature dips to a low in the mid-30s. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.
The outlook for Tuesday, according to the weather service, is mostly cloudy, temperatures in the 40s and possible rain.
