Skies across southwestern Connecticut will be mostly cloudy today, with a chance of showers this afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.
The daytime high temperature will rise to the upper-50s, with an east wind between 7 and 9 mph.
Showers are also possible tonight, along with patchy fog, as the temperature falls to a low in the upper-40s. There will be an east wind around 8 mph.
Tomorrow, there again is a chance of showers, mainly before 10 a.m. while areas of fog could persist until about 11 a.m., the NWS says. The high temperature is expected to be about 60 degrees. Overnight, skies will be cloudy and the temperature will dip to a low of about 50 degrees.
On Friday, there is a chance of showers -- as well as thunderstorms -- after noon, with some of the storms generating strong winds. The high temperature will rise to about 70 degrees. Storms are also possible Friday night, with a low temperature of about 50 degrees.
The outlook for Saturday, the weather service predicts, is mostly cloudy, with a high temperature near 65.
