Darien forecast: Setting the table for a nice Thanksgiving

Today promises to be a pleasant prelude to Thanksgiving, with sunny skies and temperatures rising to the low-50s.
In addition to clear skies across southwestern Connecticut, the National Weather Service predicts there will be a light northeast wind 6 to 8 mph.
Tonight will be mostly clear, with a low temperature in the mid-30s and a northeast wind 3 to 7 mph.
Tomorrow, Thanksgiving Day, also will be sunny, with a high temperature in the mid-50s. Nighttime will be mostly clear, with a low temperature in the mid-30s.
Friday should be sunny again, with the temperature rising to the mid-50s. There is a slight chance of showers Friday night, mainly after 11 p.m., as clouds move in the temperature dips to a low in the upper-30s.
Saturday is expected to be mostly cloudy, with a high temperature in the upper-40s. Saturday night will be partly cloudy, with a low around 30 degrees.
The outlook for Sunday, according to the weather service, is mostly sunny and temperatures in the mid-40s.
