Darien forecast: Skies cloudy, rain possible

Clouds moving across southwestern Connecticut early this morning carry with them the threat of showers this afternoon and tonight.
The National Weather Service says that chance of precipitation after 10 a.m. is about 40 percent, as the temperature rises to a daytime high in the mid-60s.
Tonight, odds of precipitation increase slightly to 50 percent, the NWS says. Skies will remain cloudy and the temperature will dip to a low about 50 degrees.
More showers are possible tomorrow as skies will be cloudy again and the high temperature is about 60 degrees. Chance of precipitation is 50 percent, the NWS says. There is a lesser chance of rain tomorrow night -- about 20 percent -- as the temperature declines to a low of about 50 degrees.
On Thursday, there is a slight chance of rain or drizzle before noon under cloudy skies and temperatures rising to a high of about 65 degrees. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent. Clouds will prevail Thursday night, with a low temperature about 50 degrees.
Friday, however, should bring clearing and a temperature rising to the upper-60s under sunny skies. Nighttime will be partly cloudy, with a low temperature in the low-50s.
The outlook for Saturday, the weather service says, is mostly sunny and temperatures in the upper-60s.
