Today should be partly sunny and hot in southwestern Connecticut, according to the National Weather Service.

After a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms before 10 a.m., the daytime high temperature will rise to about 90 degrees. There will a west wind 6 to 11 mph, becoming northwest 13 to 18 mph in the afternoon.

Tonight should be mostly clear with a low temperature in the low-60s and a north wind 9 to 13 mph.

Tomorrow will be sunny with a high temperature in the mid-80s. There is a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms overnight as clouds move in and the temperature dips to the upper-60s.

On Thursday, there is a chance of showers and thunderstorms, skies will be mostly cloudy and the high temperature will be in the mid-80s. By nighttime, there remains a chance of showers and thunderstorms and the low temperature will be in the low-70s.

The outlook for Friday, according to the weather service, is for a chance of showers and thunderstorms, partly sunny skies and a temperature in the mid-80s.
