Darien forecast: Warming trend continues

The week's warming trend will continue today, according to the National Weather Service, with temperatures rising to the mid-40s.
Skies in southwestern Connecticut will be sunny, with a west wind 5 to 9 mph.
Tonight also will be clear, with a low temperature in the upper-20s and a west wind around 5 mph.
Wednesday is expected to be sunny, with a high temperature in the upper-40s. Nighttime will be mostly clear, with a low temperature about 30 degrees.
Thursday should be sunny again, with a high temperature in the mid-40s. There is a chance of rain late Thursday night and early Friday, as the temperature dips to the low-30s. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent.
There remains a chance of rain later Friday, as the daytime high temperature rises to the mid-40s. Chance of precipitation is 50 percent. Nighttime will also be cloudy and the low temperature will be in the mid-30s. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.
The outlook for Saturday, according to the weather service, is partly sunny and temperatures near 50 degrees.
