Darien forecast: Warming trend taking hold

Today will feel downright balmy compared to the frigid conditions of the last several days, with temperatures edging up to nearly 40 degrees in southwestern Connecticut.
The National Weather Service says skies will be mostly cloudy today, with a west wind between 8 and 14 mph.
Tonight also will be cloudy, and the temperature will fall to a low of about 30 degrees.
Tomorrow is expected to be partly sunny and even warmer, with a high temperature near 46 degrees. Tomorrow night will be partly cloudy, with a low around 31 degrees, the NWS says.
Saturday will be mostly sunny, with a high temperature near 47 degrees. Clouds move in Saturday night, as the temperature registers a low about 30 degrees.
Sunday promises to be mostly sunny, with a high near 44 degrees, the weather service predicts.
