The 46th annual Darien Antiques Show takes place March 1 to 3 and will feature more than 30 exhibitors showcasing numerous fine antiques, including furniture, carpets, paintings, jewelry, posters and pottery.
The show opens at the First Congregational Church, 14 Brookside Road, Darien, with a preview party on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m., and continues on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dealers from Connecticut, New York, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire and New Jersey will be participating.
Proceeds from the show benefit a number of charitable organizations, including Inspirica, formerly St. Luke's Lifeworks, which is the primary beneficiary of the preview party. The sponsors are William Pitt Sotheby's International Realty, Darien Rowayton Bank and "Connecticut Cottages & Gardens."
Admission to the party is $50 at the door and includes weekend admission to the show. Tickets to the show are $10 at the door; $8 for seniors and discount card/ad holders.
