Volunteers needed to pack meals for the hungry

In response to the world hunger crisis, Feed My Starving Children Mobilepack will return to Darien for the fourth time on Oct. 20 and 21.

Mannapack meals will be packed at Middlesex Middle School and sent needy children in countries such as Haiti, Nicaragua and Guatemala.

Hosted jointly by Darien churches and co-sponsored by the Council for Darien School Parents, this year's goal is to pack 240,000 meals, which will take the total number of meals packed to 1 million.
