Teen Librarian Mia Orobona explains the rules for the Nerf capture the flag game at the Zombie Halloween Lock-In at the Darien Library, Saturday, Oct. 28, 2017, in Darien, Conn.

DARIEN — Books may be fun, but the library was never this exciting.

A bevvy of teens literally had the run of Darien Library Saturday night for the Zombie Halloween Lock-In, including an expansive Nerf gun game of capture the flag.

“We wanted to do a lock-in because they’ve been asking for one,” said Mia Orobona, teen librarian.

Costumes, pizza and a Halloween movie were also part of the evening.

“It seemed like a good fit,” Orobona said.
