$10,000 in jewelry stolen from home

More than $10,000 in jewelry was stolen from a Sherry Lane home.
After arriving home March 23 from a week-long vacation, the female resident noticed that the jewelry box in the bedroom of her master bedroom was missing, as well as a jewelry box in one of her teenage children's rooms, according to Darien police.
Police said she was certain an antique gold women's watch, a pearl and bracelet, gold bracelets, a gold ring with the family crest and a gold wedding band were missing, as well as other items of jewelry.
She told police she last saw the jewelry boxes before leaving for vacation.
There was no sign of forced entry into the home, police said.
