$2,000 in OTC meds stolen from CVS

Nearly $2,000 in over-the-counter medication was reported stolen from CVS, 964 Post Road, Darien, Aug. 13, according to police.
At 1:30 p.m., a male entered CVS through the Post Road entrance and asked an employee about diapers, the report stated. He was then seen placing boxes of medication into a white gift bag, according to police.
When an employee approached him and asked if he needed help, he told her to "get the f--- out," according to the report.
The suspect then left the store with 20 boxes of Prilosec, valued at $502; 43 boxes of Xantac, valued at $802; and 28 boxes of Mucinex, valued at $615. He used a stolen gift bag, valued at $4.99, to carry the medication out of the store, police said.
Police are investigating.
