Food Fair follows parade

Darien EMS-Post 53's annual Food Fair at Tilley Park Pond Monday, May 26, following the Memorial Day parade, will raise money to support the community's emergency medical services.

The fair, which begins immediately after the parade, continues until 3 p.m.

It will include a silent auction, featuring four JetBlue tickets, sporting event tickets, golf outings and more.

Boutiques showcasing an array of local artisans' work, baked goods and more also will be available. Among the activities are:

An herb and flower market by Post 53 volunteers with help from Nielsen's Florist and Garden Shop

A CPR tent where hands-only CPR will be explained, an ambulance tour can be taken and blood pressure can be checked

The Darien Power Squadron will teach water safety and sell model boat kits

A family fun zone filled with games and crafts for children of all ages

The Non-Stop Donut Shop, created by Post 53 Members

Post 53 members will grill hamburgers and bratwurst and serve pulled pork, seafood salads, desserts and more, all supplied by Palmer's Market, Michael Joseph's, Fisherman's Net, The Goose, Smoky Joe's and Robek's.

Tickets are $5.
