Adrian A. Posner, 90, of Goshen, formerly of Darien, died Friday, March 11, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. He was the husband of the late Sylvia (Kron) Posner. Mr. Posner was born in Stamford on June 5, 1920, son of the late Julius and Anna (Greenberger) Posner and was a Darien resident for many years and resided in Goshen since 1978. He was a World War II U.S. Army Air Force Veteran and had worked in public relations with the New Britain Red Socks before his retirement in 1985 with 17 years of service.
He was a member of Beth Israel Temple in Winsted, a member of the Jewish War Veterans, Greater Winsted Ministerial Association, Senior Men's Bowling League, Knights of Pythias, Supreme Lodge and was a past Grand Chancellor of the State of Connecticut. He was a former Boy Scouts of America Scout Master and was an avid bowler and dancer.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda P. Macchio and her husband, Victor, of Stamford; two sons, Ronald Posner and his wife, Marina, of Rockville, Md., and Terry Posner of Tampa, Fla.; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were Wednesday, March 16, at the Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, Torrington. Burial with full military honors followed in Sons of Jacob Cemetery, Torrington.
