The fourth annual luncheon for Aging in Place+Gallivant takes place on Thursday, Nov. 15, at the Darien Community Association, 274 Middlesex Road, and will feature Cara M. Brook, professional organizer.
The luncheon, which takes place from 12:30 to 2 p.m., is sponsored by Aging in Place+Gallivant and the DCA.
Brook is the owner of Strategize.Organize.Simplify. LLC. She will discuss "Organize and Simplify: Reduce Your Stress by Removing Clutter."
Gina Blum, Aging in Place+Gallivant executive director, said, "We spend years accumulating papers, memorabilia, photos and other items that clutter our homes and our lives. Ms. Brook will help us overcome the stress associated with being unorganized by teaching us simple strategies to eliminate the clutter."
The presentation and lunch are free for Darien seniors. Reservations are required by calling 203-585-4094 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Space is limited.
