A home on Berringer Road was burglarized Oct. 25 after the female resident apparently left the home unlocked, police said.

The resident left the home around 10:30 a.m. and returned at 1:50 p.m. to discover the front door open, police said.

Jewelry, two multicolored stained-glass lamps, a wooden Buddha carving worth $3,000, a wooden sculpture, two multicolored lizard wall hangings, a ceramic jaguar statue and a Sony desktop CD stereo were reported taken, police said.
