Bike theft reported from train station

Police responded to the theft of a bicycle from the bike rack at the Noroton Heights railroad station eastbound platform on Oct. 23. The bicycle is described as a blue and cream men's Schwinn Beach Cruiser.
Police said it is a reproduction of a 1930s-era bicycle. It is valued at approximately $300.
According to police, the owner parked and locked the bicycle using a steel cable and combination lock at approximately 7:55 a.m. and when he returned at 7:25 p.m. he discovered the bike, chain and lock had been stolen.
