Classes will be offered for children 18 months to 6 years old. Friedberg and The Bossy Frog have performed more than 200 shows per year for children and families throughout New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.
Friedberg stresses that the goal of the classes are to use singing, movement and instrument playing to help children develop a lifelong love of music along with basic skills. He adds that the addition of the costume character, Bossy Frog, adds an imaginative visual element to the classes.
"Active music making has been shown to help children grow in so many important ways including motor skills development, social skills development, self esteem, cognitive skills and language skills," he said. And in continuing his partnership with The Bossy Frog, the character will reinforce Friedberg's teaching through encouraging children to actively participate in classes.
"This will be a totally fun, imaginative and creative class that kids and their caregivers will love as they learn," he said.
