Bread racks were reported stolen on two separate days while stored on the loading docks at Stop & Shop.

The two larcenies were reported April 2 and April 5 and the first theft occurred between 5 a.m. March 28 and 5 a.m. March 29, police said. The second rack was last seen during the afternoon hours April 4 and was missing by 6:30 a.m. April 5.

Both racks are 6 feet tall by 31 inches wide with 14 shelves and they weigh about 100 lbs. each, police said. They are gray and made of magnesium. Each rack is valued at $479.
