DARIEN — Police arrested a 38-year-old Bridgeport man on a warrant after pulling him over for driving without a front license plate.
An officer pulled over Kenneth T. Jackson, of Dewey Street, as he was driving a 1993 Lexus down the Post Road on April 12 around 4 p.m. When the officer stopped the Bridgeport man, he smelled marijuana coming from the car. The officer then found there was a warrant for Jackson’s arrest out of Bridgeport for violating probation. The officer also searched the car and found several marijuana blunts in the center console of the car.
Jackson issued an infraction for possession of less than a half ounce of marijuana. He was unable to post a $10,000 court-set bond and was transported to Stamford Superior Court on April 13 for arraignment.
