Car burglarized, keys taken from gym locker

The owner of a 2010 Audi Q5 reported on Saturday, July 21, that his vehicle was burglarized in the parking lot at Darien YMCA, 2420 Post Road, on July 16 at approximately 6:30 p.m.

According to the report, the owner left his belongings, including the vehicle's keys, in an unlocked locker in the men's locker room while he used the facility's swimming pool.

When he returned to the locker, police said, the vehicle keys were missing.

It was later determined that someone had found the keys in the parking lot and turned them in to the YMCA service desk, the report said.

The vehicle owner told police his vehicle was definitely entered, but nothing was taken.
