The Fairfield County Chapter of the Association for Fundraising Professionals will host its next luncheon meeting on Dec. 3rd at the Quattro Pazzi restaurant in Norwalk noon to 2 p.m. The fee is $20 for AFP members and $30 for non-members.

In addition to the chapter's annual meeting, the luncheon program will feature James M. Citrin, senior director with Spencer Stuart. Citrin's topic will be "Leadership, Peak Performance & Career Success" in the non-profit world.

Citrin is a leading executive search consultant and an expert on leadership, career success and corporate governance. His findings from interviews with the likes of Bill Bradley, Colin Powell, Lance Armstrong, Bono, Buzz Aldrin and Tony Hawk among others can unlock a new approach to achieving peak performance.

"Our monthly program offers attendees the opportunity to hear speakers on topics of relevance to the profession," said Holly Lemoine, CFRE, president of AFP-Fairfield County. "Our commitment to ethical and effective fundraising and the promotion of sound fundraising practice is evident in the quality of the programs we offer to our members and the broader community."

The AFP Fairfield County Chapter provides regular professional development opportunities for those involved in fundraising, either vocationally or as volunteers. Monthly luncheons with featured speakers are held the first Thursday of every month from September to June at Quattro Pazzi. For more information, visit www.afpfairfield.org.
