Barbour will lead students in making hot wings, Texas chili, chicken pot pie and a simple banana pudding. The group will then enjoy their creations together with a salad and perhaps a glass of wine, which is BYOB.
Throughout the class, Barbour will offer techniques that may be applied many ways, along with helpful ideas and hints for the home chef.
The class will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. in the DCA's commercial kitchen, 274 Middlesex Road. The cost is $65 for members and $80 for nonmembers. The class has a 12-student maximum.
