St. Luke's parishioner Gail Wiggin will speak on the topic "Don't Just Do Something Sit There: The ROI of Contemplative Silence" Sunday, Dec. 4, at the Saint Luke Parish's Discovery Hour from 9 to 10 a.m. in the Parish Hall, 1864 Post Road, Darien.

A member of Saint Luke's since moving here from New York 25 years ago, Wiggin is an ardent walker, wife, mother, entrepreneur, businesswoman, recovering workaholic, artist, partner, sister and seeker -- the last having occupied her heart and mind most over the past 18 years.

As a Christian contemplative wisdom student of The Rev. Cynthia Bourgeault, Wiggin is a practitioner of centering prayer and an avid student of the mystics, teachers and saints in the Abrahamic stream.
