Copper stolen from Ring's End Lumber

More than $1,600 in copper sheeting was reported stolen June 12 from Ring's End Lumber, 181 West Ave., Darien on June 13, according to police.

The copper -- valued at $1,642 -- was taken from a shed on the property, according to police. An employee found the doors to the storage facility forced open, police said,

The incident remains under investigation while police review surveillance video.
