Darien's Bantam A1s, sponsored by Gates Capital Corporation, captured the 2013 Ocean State Classic by beating four teams from five states in six games over a grueling two-and-a-half days.

In the first four qualifier games, the Bantam A1s outscored their opponents 17-11, while posting a 3-1 record with a balanced attack by forwards Matt Martens, Thomas Sulger, Owen Johson, Will Foster, Matt Smith, Connor Scanlan, Jeff Lane and Harry Congdon and defensemen Hunter Manchuck, Jack Droogan, Aditya Krishnamachar and Henry Hathaway.

In the playoffs, Darien's two netminders, Quentin McDermott and Anthony Cusano, combined to allow only one goal while the team's powerful offense tallied 10 goals.
