Darien Kiwanis Club announces 20th annual charity golf tournament

The Darien Kiwanis Club will hold its 20th annual Charity Golf Tournament on Thursday, July 26 at Sterling Farms Golf Course in Stamford.

The tournament is sponsored by Ring's End Lumber, Fairfield County Bank and Siegel, Reilly & Conlon, LLC, and benefits the Kiwanis Scholarship fund and Kids in Crisis.

The Kiwanis club has given scholarships to local DHS graduates over the past several years in the amount of $25,000 each year.

The tournament will begin with registration at noon with a light lunch before a shotgun start at 1:45 p.m.

An awards dinner will follow the tournament at The Royal Green at Sterling with a raffle and prizes.

The cost is $160 per player and includes lunch, greens fees, dinner and beverage bar. For more information or to make your reservation, contact Jack Keane, golf chairman, at 203-655-1392.
