Darien Little League baseball and softball registration underway

Darien Little League Registration began on Monday, Nov. 12. To register, visit www.dybs.org and click "Register Online" from the menu on the left-hand side of the page.

Little League Baseball is available to all boys and girls who are between Kindergarten and seventh grade and who will be no older than 12 on April 30, 2013. Regular registration for second graders and up runs from Nov. 12 to Dec. 31, after which a late fee will be charged. Regular registration for Kindergartners and first graders extends to Jan. 31, after which a late fee will be charged. For baseball related questions, contact David Williams at dwbbc@optonline.net.

Little League Softball is available to all girls who are between Kindergarten and ninth grade and who will be no older than 14 on Dec. 31, 2012. Regular registration for second graders and up runs from Nov. 12 to Dec. 31, after which a late fee will be charged. Regular registration for Kindergartners and first graders extends to Jan. 31, after which a late fee will be charged. For Softball related questions, contact Alison Feeley at feeley@optonline.net.

Challenger Baseball is available to special needs children who are between 5 and 18 years old. The Challenger program is in its 15th year and is one of the largest of its kind in the state. Registration for Challenger's Winter Session runs from Nov. 12 to Dec. 1. For the Spring Session, registration closes on Jan. 31.
