DARIEN — Police arrested a second man in connection with a hefty shampoo theft from CVS in December.

On March 6 around 2 a.m, Osaban Williams, 22, (also known was Osahara) turned himself in on third-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit larceny charges. While police were investigating a theft of $2,700 worth of shampoo from CVS, they determined Williams, a resident of Main Avenue in the Bronx, was the driver of the getaway car involved.

In the Dec. 27 incident, a man, later identified as Luis Medina, entered the CVS on Post Road and fled with 45 bottles of salon-quality shampoo stuffed in a duffel bag. A CVS employee followed Medina out of the store where he saw him enter a black Kia Sol with New York plates. Using the plate number provided by the store, police were able to trace the car back to Williams.

After turning himself in, Williams used a bondsman to post a $25,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on March 16.
