Police charged a Norwalk woman on Oct. 1 with operating a vehicle under a suspended license, failure to insure a vehicle, operating an unregistered vehicle and failure to return a license.

An officer pulled over Patricia Regina Verner near the I-95 on ramp by exit 13 after he noticed the registration expired in June 2012. Police identified the operator as Verner and found that her license was suspended in December 2010.

Police said Verner claimed she was unaware of her expired registration and suspended license. Verner was also unable to provide proof of insurance for the vehicle, according to police.

She posted a $500 bond and appeared in court the next day.
