On Nov. 2 police arrested a Stamford man on charges of driving under the influence and failure to drive right.

An officer said he saw Keshab Chapagain, 35, of 22 Glenbrook Road in Stamford, at approximately 12:08 a.m. driving his 2010 Toyota Corolla southbound on Hoyt Street.

Police said that while following the vehicle that the officer noted it crossed over the center line on several occasions. The officer stopped the vehicle in the area of Camp Avenue.

Upon speaking with Chapagain the officer noticed his eyes were glassy and that an odor of alcohol was emanating from his person, according to police. Chapagain subsequently failed his field sobriety test.

He posted a $250 bond and is scheduled to appear in court Nov. 12
