Darien Police respond to larceny at Whole Foods

Police responded to Whole Foods, 150 Ledge Road, on Oct. 10 after receiving a call about a stolen wallet.

Police said the female victim was shopping in the store at 5:30 p.m. and accidentally left her wallet in the shopping cart. When she went to retrieve it she discovered that it had been stolen, according to police.

The wallet contained approximately $100 in cash and at least one credit card. Police said a review of the surveillance video proved inconclusive.
