Darien Police respond to larceny report at Chipotle

Police responded to a larceny report at Chipotle Mexican Restaurant, 71 Post Road, after a manager who reported one of the daily deposit bags was missing from Aug. 27. Police said the deposit, which exceeded $1,400, had been placed in the restaurant safe and there was no sign of forced entry into the safe or the building. Police said Chipotle conducted an internal investigation, and police are still looking into the matter.
