Darien improved to 14-1 with four more victories Tuesday. Darien, the newly-ranked No. 1 team in Connecticut, defeated New Canaan (15-50), Trinity Catholic (15-50), Stamford (15-49) and Fairfield Warde (19-43).
Alex Ostberg took first place in the race, covering the 5k course in 16:12.
Darien then took five of the next six places: Armstrong Noonan was third in 16:43, Brian Davey was fourth in 16:44 and Marshall Huffman was fifth in 16:53. Colten Appleby took sixth in 17:10, and Peter Kreuch was seventh in 17:15. Ben Olsen placed 10th in 17:18.
"It was a nice set of wins," Darien coach Tyson Kaczmarek said. "Condition were not ideal, but it worked out well for us."
