"This week's matches showcased the strength of the Darien team -- their depth -- as we had a different medalist each day," Darien coach Tom O'Donnell said. "Thursdays medalist Mac Koorbusch, whose recent strong play at the JV level earned a spot in this varsity match, took full advantage of his opportunity to showcase his potential on a day where the Blue Wave needed it desperately to escape with a win over a Warde team who played one of their best rounds of the year."

Next week Darien faces a quartet of quality opponents: Greenwich (12-0), Ridgefield (12-1), Staples (12-1-1) and Wilton (8-3) as it shoot for its second undefeated season in three years.
