The Darien-based Advantage International has hired Mark Pozorski as director of strategic planning in its Los Angeles office.
Reporting to the agency's executive creative director, Jaime Cabrera, Pozorski will lead client strategy planning and special projects.
"Mark's ability to glean insights from qualitative and quantitative research will help us continue to solve client challenges in innovative ways," said Cabrera.
Pozorski comes to Advantage from RPA Advertising where he spent 19 years in various leadership roles supporting Honda's market planning and communications strategies. At RPA, he developed individual marketing strategies and communication platforms to address brand, product and retail challenges. Prior to RPA, he spent six years at Nissan's U.S. headquarters in various advertising and brand management roles. He also spent three years in Honda's motorcycle division supervising the creative development process.
Advantage International, owned by Interpublic Group, is a sponsorship and brand experience agency, specializing in sports, entertainment, lifestyle and cause-marketing initiatives on behalf of its corporate clients, who includes Hyundai Motor America, LG Electronics, AIG and Tata Consultancy Services.
Advantage won the 2013 Ex Award for "Best Activation of a Sports Sponsorship" for the Hyundai "Show Your Loyalty" college football platform.
