There should be plenty o' sun smilin' on St. Patrick's Day celebrants today in southwestern Connecticut.

The National Weather Service predicts the daytime high temperatures will be 53 degrees, with mild winds from the west at between 7 and 10 mph.

Tonight will be partly cloudy, with a low around 43. A southwest wind will be between 8 and 11 mph.

Skies tomorrow morning are expected to be mostly cloudy, but should gradually clear as the temperature rises to the low-60s. It will be breezy, with a west wind between 16 and 20 mph. By nighttime, however, there is a chance of rain as the temperature falls to a low of about 40 degrees.

There remains a chance of rain on Saturday until early afternoon. The day is expected to be mostly cloudy, with a high near 46.

Sunday should be partly sunny, with a high near 45 degrees.
