Eamonn Donnelly, 30, of Newtown turned himself in to Darien police headquarters on Dec. 4 after an arrest warrant was issued for an Oct. 2 burglary of a Mystic Road residence, according to police.
The homeowner left her home for approximately three hours and returned to find her back door had been broken into, according to police. Police said jewelry and silverware were taken.
Donnelly was arrested on charges of third-degree burglary, third-degree conspiracy to burglary and third-degree larceny.
He was released after posting a $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 17.
