Bill Ptacek will be the featured speaker at the annual event. Ptacek is the director of the King County Library System in Washington state. Ptacek, who is a highly esteemed national voice for library innovation, will speak on the incredibly timely topic of how libraries can stay relevant to their users in a time of rapid technological and social change.
Before Ptacek's presentation, members of the Board will give an update on developments at the library over the past year. In addition, an election of new Board Trustees will be held. The three nominees for trustee positions are Tara Ochman, Todd Raker and Marion Weatherstone.
